By creating an account or using NimbusVault (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. During our invite-only beta, access requires a valid invite code. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure — because of zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot recover your data if you lose them.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or share content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or its infrastructure.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the files you store. You grant us a limited license solely to store, sync and deliver your encrypted files to your devices and the people you share them with.

4. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard. A 14-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time paid subscriptions.

5. Service availability

We strive for high availability and durability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change as the product evolves during beta.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NimbusVault is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
